Lumene Sensitive Touch Cleansing Wipes

After a recent string of long nights at the office, I found myself with less time and energy to do my nightly routine. Seeing the damage of not removing my makeup before hitting the sack I decided to use cleansing wipes to remove my makeup with minimal time and effort. These wipes are laced with soothing organic arctic linen seeds and are free of alcohol, colorant, fragrance, silicone, paraffin oil, and paraben. The wipes removed most of my face makeup easily but it took several tries to remove my mascara. The wipes didn’t dry out my skin but I would recommend following up with lotion anyways.  Overall, these are good wipes but I rather Simple facial wipes.

LaLicious Brown Sugar & Vanilla Sugar Souffle Moisturizing Body Scrub

Some things go better in pairs – hot chocolate and whipped cream, peanut butter and jelly, cheese and crackers…I am so hungry now! What was I talking about again? During the winter/fall seasons, I notice my skin feeling scaly and rough. I have tried their “Sugar Kiss” body scrub and was impressed with the quality. I wanted to try the other scents in their body scrub line. This scent didn’t disappoint. It has a sweet alluring scent while applying and which lingers after washing off the sugar scrub. The pure cane sugar crystals body scrub is packed with coconut oil, sweet almond and vitamin E oils that help moisturize, smooth and condition your skin. This is a nice guilt free way to treat yourself during the holidays or any time really.

Here is how to pick the perfect dress for your shape:
“1. Minimize a big bust - look for styles that have some stretch, plus extra room on top to accommodate curves.
2. Downplay hips and thighs - choose full - skirted frocks that have defined waist or graceful necklines to focus more attention on your upper half.
3. Conceal a tummy - forgiving fabric and fool the eye details help you feel confident without having suck it in.
4. Flatter a full figure - go for a contoured dress with built-in structure or one that’s flowy and fuss-free.”

Here are some cures for hangovers [I am not actually sure how viable they are] for the upcoming Spring Break -
Mexico’s go to hair of the dog is a michelada, a frosty mug of beer typically spiked with tomato juice, worcestershire sauce, lime and a kick of spicy heat.
Waking up wrecked in Poland can make you quite the sourpuss. Among the most trusted local hangover cures is pickle juice. Straight up. [Ewww! I  can just imagine the face I would make]
In Mongolia, hangover relief is in the eye of the beholder - if you happen to hang out with livestock. Pop a pickled sheep’s eyeball [where the hell can you find one of that here?!] In  some tomato juice, swirl and gulp. Whatever you do, don’t chew!”

Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels

During this time of year, my personal and work obligation starts becoming too demanding  and everyone needs a little me time and my skin can use a little love. The eye mask provides a little time to relax and my skin gets pampered. These eye gels promise to help firm, tone and de-puff your eyes under ten minutes.  The eye gels are packed with hydrolyzed elastin, acetyl hexapeptide, ginkgo biloba leaf extract and coenzyme Q10.  These powerhouse ingredients promise to restore tone, firmness to under-eye area, reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve blood flood, reduce puffiness, and fight free radicals. My skin felt smoother, softer and I looked well rested. Overall, I think these eye gels do an amazing job and I actually forward to wearing them once a week and for the “me time”.

I love Philosophy’s multiuse shower products. I used this as a shower gel and it lathers really well and leaves my skin soft. I like the sweet scent of this body wash although it always makes me hungry and crave something sweet. The shower gel gave a creamy lather which left my skin moisturized and lightly scented. Overall, I love this scent especially with the holidays around the corner [by that I mean couple of months away].

Phytomer Seaweed Soap

I love this intoxicating scent of this seaweed soap. This natural seaweed soap is packed with natural marine extracts that promises to refine skin texture and helps exfoliate your skin.  For $20 for a bar of soap, it can seem quite pricey but it works very well and it lasts for a while. The soap lathers well and exfoliates my skin making it feel baby soft. The soap has a refreshing scent and imparts a light scent on my skin after showing. Overall, my skin feels soft, softly scented and feeling fresh. I usually buy this soap during the winter time when my skin needs love and attention.

Dermalogica Age Smart Lip Renewal Complex

This daily lip treatment promises to restore delicate tissue, minimizes contour lines and signs of aging. I love how the lip treatment just melts like butter on my lips and my lips felt like silk afterwards. The lip treatment is packed with cocoa butter, shea butter, avocado, wheat germ and peptides to condition and moisturize your lips. I haven’t noticed any change in the appearance of my lips or the skin around my lips but my lips are super soft.
