The serum is enriched botanical cocktail of astaxanthin, shea butter, Japanese Green Tea, Jojoba Oil and Hyaluronic Acid. It is packed with all the good stuff and none of the bad stuff like parabens, bad synthetics, preservatives and dyes. It promises to moisturize, prevent the visible signs of aging from skin damaging UV rays, inclement weather, and estrogen depleting hormonal changes caused by aging. The airless bottle helps protect against product degradation and keeps the formula fresh, plus it looks kind of cool on my nightstand. While the company promised a light herbal fragrance, the scent reminded me a bit of turmeric. I was a bit hesitant in using the serum in the daytime as being Indian I don’t want to use products that make me smell like curry. I personally didn’t notice any turmeric in the ingredients list but turmeric is a very good for the skin but I just rather not smell like it. I have used the serum every day night before bed and I woke up with smoother and softer skin. The serum is concentrated and lightweight so only a little is needed to provide results. I would get this again and would love to try the other products from Mirai Clinical.

EVEN GLOW SERUM - 20% Vitamin C - Antioxidant Treatment
The Valentia Even Glow Serum promised to even and brighten skin. As currently being plagued with acne scars I couldn't wait to give this product a try. The silky serum is packed anti-aging ingredients such as Organic Rosehip Oil, Organic Sea Buckthorn Oil, Green Tea Extract,
Botanical Hyaluronic Acid, and Resistem. The creamy serum provided all day hydration, reduced wrinkles and fine lines along with boosting collagen production. While I didn't notice any reduction in wrinkles or fine lines but my skin is soft and smooth. I also like how radiant my skin look and felt. I would probably purchase this again if it was on sale.

Epionce Intense Defense Anti-Aging + Repair Serum

This
intense serum is like a skin care multivitamin for your skin. It is
packed with fruit, botanical extracts and Niacinamide. The potent
cocktail promises to reverse fine line, wrinkles, improve skin tone,
smooth, soften and improve firmness, elasticity and texture. The creamy
formula went on smoothly and left my face feeling soft and firm. I must
say, when they say intensive hydration, they really do mean intensive. I
used a little bit of the serum on my face and face look like my face
was drenched with water. It did take a bit of work to work in all of the
serum into my face. The only parts I didn’t like is that my hands were
sticky from the lotion and my face did get a bit dry towards the
evening. Overall, it was too pricey to buy again and I found other
products that work a lot better for less money.

One Love Organics Rose Aromatic Body Serum
Photo Credit - One Love Organics |
The body serum is packed with essential oils like pumpkin seed, rose and sea buckthorn, Zinc and Omega 3, 7 and 6. The serum promises to hydrate, soften, soothe, softly exfoliate and improve skin elasticity. The rose scented body oil goes on smoothly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy or oil. I used it right after showering and my skin felt amazing. The rose scent waft through the air while applying the serum and softly lingered. I felt like just visited the spa while I was massaging the body serum into my skin, although I wish I actually had a massage therapist instead.

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster

The
serum is boasts a high potency of vitamin C complex. It promises to
prevent and corrects signs of aging while brightening and evening out
skin tone. The fast absorbing serum went on easily and smoothly. It made
my skin look smoother, softer and had a bit of a glow. My favorite part
of this sweet scented serum is that a little bit goes along way and
delivers. I got couple of compliments from using this product and
because I am a bit vain, I will probably continue using this.

Coco de Soleil Gloss | Moderne – High – Gloss Serum

When I first saw this product, I thought it was made by the
creators of Cirque du Soleil,
turns out it is not. After cutting my
long hair because there wasn’t much I could do with it; I realized there isn’t
much to do with short hair either, if you are lazy. I decided try this serum out after reading
some really good reviews about this product. After washing my hair, I smooth in
some of the serum into my hair. I love
the piece-y texture and volume it gave my hair. I didn’t notice any added shine
to my hair and it made my hair a bit sticky. While I would not use this product
every day, I would use it once in a while and probably wash my hair the next
day. I didn’t use any heat styling equipment, as recommended. I will probably
try that the next time.

Jonathan Create Smooth Anti-Frizz Volumizing Serum
My hair does not know what the hell it wants to be. Some days, I will have really straight, wavy, curly or frizzy hair. Sometimes one side would be curly, the other straight, or wavy. I have been told on numerous occasions, that I have ‘memorable’ hair, not because it is really nice but because people cannot describe it. Well, to help ease one of the many ‘symptoms’ of my hair, I decided to try coveted Jonathan Anti-Frizz serum, so maybe then my hair will at least be less frizzy. The product should be applied to damp hair and then style as usual. I usually apply the product after towel drying my hair. The serum is very thick and leaves your hands sticky. Make sure to fully distribute the product throughout your hair; otherwise you well end up with patches of gunk in hair [trust me it’s not something you want to have]. I noticed when the product dries that it leaves little white flakes on some parts on my hair. The serum did combat some frizz but not that much to make a noticeable difference or to justify the hefty price tag [around $30]. I don’t believe this serum was worth the sticky feeling and white flakes just to smooth a bit frizz. I have learn that combing with a boar bristle brush before washing your hair and running it through one more time when its partially dry leaves your hair less frizzy and shiny.

Lashem Lash Growth Serum
Apply product to the lash line |
After reading some reviews about lash enhancers, I tried giving Lashem Lash Growth Serum a try. First, a little history about lash enhancers: Patients who were on a prescription for treating glaucoma had developed beautiful long lashes thanks to the side effects of the drug. Noticing this, cosmetics companies started making lash enhancers mimicking the glaucoma drug. Shortly, boat loads of lash enhancers, serums and mascaras hit the market.
One of them is the Lashem Lash Growth Serum. The serum promises longer, darker, more voluminous lashes. The product did live up to its promise, as I noticed my lashes grew a bit longer and got darker. The directions indicate the product should be used once daily on clean eyes. I normally use the product at night time, since it is easier to incorporate into my beauty regime. The product is applied as a thin line on the lash line. The formula is paraben free, with a combination of goji berry, green tea, cranberry, grape seed extract, qusome and oligo polypeptide.

The brush is thin which makes application fairly easy |
On the downside, using this product can be quite pricey. The retail price is roughly $90 but you can sometimes find it on sale for $50 or less. Also, if you stop using this product, your eyelashes will slowly return to their normal size. Personally speaking, I would rather buy a lash enhancing mascara since you get the same benefits and it is a lot cheaper.
