The Body Shop Strawberry Soap
My
late paternal grandfather used to grow strawberries in his backyard.
Although, the strawberries weren’t very fragrant well not as much as the
figs. This soap reminds me of him and his garden every time I smell
this soap. The sweet scented soap is vegetable base and is packed with
strawberry juice, and derivatives of palm oil and glycerin. The soap did
smell like strawberries but it smell more synthetic than actual
strawberries. The soap provided a generous lather and left my skin
softly scented.

The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter
The
freshly squeezed tangerine scented body butter is packed with fair
trade shea butter. The creamy body cream went on smoothly and absorbed
quickly. The body butter wasn’t greasy and left my skin soft and smooth.
The sweet scent lasted all day but it does transfer to my clothes.
While the body butter did promise 24 hour hydration but I didn’t really
notice that because I was using the lotion every night and still get a
bit of flaky and dry skin. I do like the body butter in general but I
might try some of the other scents.

The Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Soap
I
received this gingerbread shaped tin for Christmas. I am sad that my
camera deleted the photos of the cute bear tin and the photos of the
other stuff from the set. The cute soap has a zesty ginger scent from
the ginger root extracts. The heart shaped soap had bits of exfoliation
bits, which I am guessing is pieces of ginger root [Thank you, Captain
Obvious]. While, the soap gave a creamy lather, the exfoliation was a
bit too rough on my arms and irritated it a bit. But it work wonders for
my other dry spots, like my ankles, elbows and my feet.

The Body Shop Honeymania Soap
The
cute honeycomb shaped soap with a bee imprinted in the middle is
sweetly scented like honey but with a hint of floral. The soap is made
with fair trade honey that came from the nectar of over 1,000
wildflowers, yup you are basically bathing in yummy goodness [very hard
not to lick the soap]. The soap provided a generous lather and left skin
feel smooth, silky soft and delicately scented.
