Grace and Stella Dr. Pedicure Foot Exfoliating Mask - Original

I have my dad's feet. They peel and are always rough. I hardly wear sandals because I am ashamed of how my feet look. I moisturize my feet every night before bed and even do monthly foot soaks. And the problem persists of dry calloused skin. My friend told me she did a foot mask and left her skin baby smooth and I should give it a try too.

The vegan foot peel comes with a pair of booties and two pieces of tape. The booties fit with the help of the tape to keep it in place. However, I found the tape to insufficient and used some additional tape to keep the booties in place. The paraben-free formula is composed of 17 types of natural fruit and vegetable extracts to removed dead and rough skin. After an hour with the booties on, I proceeded to wash my feet off. After a week, nothing happened. I felt nothing different. A few days later, I was at the beach and guess what happened? The skin came off in full layers, it was quite disgusting. I pulled a few pieces off and tried not to vomit while doing so. And under all that disgusting floppy skin was skin so soft and delicate it kind of hurt walking on it. My skin never felt so soft and smooth. I am a life long convert.

Kiehl's Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus Firming Overnight Mask

I have always been a fan of Kiehl's products. However, they can be quite hefty in price especially to a gal on a budget. On a recent (and very rare) work trip, I realized I left my night cream at home. I know, what a total newbie mistake. When I realized there was a Kiehl's nearby, just a 30 minute walk (gotta save that taxi money for more products!) I knew I had to stop by.

When I came across this small travel size, I knew it was my stars to try it. This indulgent overnight mask went on smoothly, and I woke up with soft velvety skin even with Chicago scary winter weather. The mask is enriched with hibiscus seed extract and ginger leaf to help firm skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines.  I didn't get a big enough jar to see if it would help with firmness or fine lines but, it did make my skin radiant. I would definitely rebuy this mask in a heartbeat. Even if it means selling a few organs.

Eslor Chlorophyll Lifting Mask

The lift mask is packed with natural milk proteins, seaweed extracts, minerals and plant extracts. I applied the gel like mask and waited 30 minutes before washing off. It promises to help tighten skin and help reduce the look of fine lines. My face did feel tight, but the wrong kind, like it needed moisture when I removed the mask. I didn’t notice much of anything after removing the mask maybe a bit glowy but not soft or hydrated. Do note, that while the packaging makes it look like a lot of product, it’s actually pretty small when you pop out the white inner layer.

Botanic Farm Black Soybean Milk Pudding Sleeping Pack

The fermented soybean enriched sleeping mask promises to leave skin plump, hydrated and moisturizer in the morning. The sleeping mask had a slight bouncy texture almost like flan and while it absorbs quickly it left my hands a bit sticky. My skin felt and looked dewy and hydrated in the morning almost like I got a full 8 hours of sleep! While I did enjoy the mask, it isn’t my favorite and I would only re-purchase it again if it was on sale because I noticed if I used this mask two days in the row my face didn’t look as hydrated and dewy on the second day. I felt like this would be more special occasion mask.

Half Moon Eyes Pink Fruity Wash Off Mask

I don’t know about anyone else but maybe I am overthinking things, but I found the name of the product a bit offensive. Putting that aside, I read many good things about this product and wanted to try it. The mask comes in single serve cups, which was only good for one use, unlike other single serve products I have used. The mask is composed of dragon fruit, snail slime, Jeju canola honey, carbonated mineral water and swiflet nest extracts. The mask promises to tighten pores, hydrate, nourish, calm and brighten skin while removing sebum. The mask went on smoothly, but it stung my face a bit. I toughed it out for a few minutes and wash it out. While, I wasn’t wowed by the result my face did look “cleaner” but it isn’t a mask I am like to try again especially at $3.50 per a use.

Ettang Modeling Co Take - Out Cup - Chlorella

While on search for a new mask to try, I came across this brand. It seemed interesting enough and got good reviews. The single use pack comes with powder and all you need to do is add water and stir. The cup has enough for  2- 3 uses and I learned the hard way, to separate out some powder in another container so you can use the rest for another time. If you use too much water, the mask will be too watery and if you use too little water, the mask will be very dry. Each cup has a special “star” ingredient and Chlorella is known for skin soothing properties. After removing the mask, most of the mask came out in one clean pull; my face was soft, smooth and looked radiant. I am definitely hooked and can’t wait to try the others.

Tony Moly I'm Real Avocado Mask Sheet Nutrition

The nourishing 3 layer pulp sheet mask is enriched with avocado and natural oils. The latex based essence promises to improve elasticity and nutrition in skin. The cotton mask fit my face relatively well and stayed put during the application. I noticed mild amount of essence drippage on my chin. My face was soft, smooth and felt glowing when I woke up in the morning.

Mizon Enjoy Vital-Up Time Nourishing Mask Nourishing Your Rough Skin containing Fresh Avocado

You gotta love a product that has it’s entire life story in it’s name. The nourish mask is a part of the new mask line from Mizon. It is packed with avocado extracts, allantoin, trehalose, hyaluronic acid and sc-glucan (which sounds made  up or comes from space). The mask had a generous portion of serum and it left my skin smooth, soft and radiant. It also had a pleasant scent. I can’t wait to try more from this brand.

Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask Pack

The  face mask is enriched with snail slime filtrate and bee venom to promote skin’s immune system. It’s free of parabens, synthetic colorants, artificial fragrances and formaldehyde. Unlike other masks, this one wasn’t super saturated with serum, However, it left my skin soft and smooth. It wasn’t my favorite mask but I would get it on sale again if it was for $1.
