Himalaya Botanique Complete Care Toothpaste

Every parent wants  to provide the best for their families but with the everyday demands from work, family, chores, etc makes it sometimes impossible. However, studies have shown even a small change can make a dramatic impact. Not many people give a second thought to the toothpaste they are using unless they have a medical issue or problem. I can say without a doubt, I am one of those people who just picks up whatever is on sale. I have notoriously picked up a kids flavored bubble gum toothpaste for myself. Granted, I know families with small kids have a tough time finding a toothpaste that is both pleasing and safe for both adults and children.

I was very excited when I was given the opportunity to try some of Himalaya's Complete Care Toothpastes. At first, I was very wary. I have tried other "natural" toothpaste that tasted like glue or provided a poor froth. Putting aside my skepticism, I tried one of the "Simply Mint" flavors. I was blown away by the pleasant minty flavor. It was definitely not overpowering as saying using Listerine but a soft and calming taste such as eating a small dinner mint. The toothpaste provided a generous foam and left my teeth feeling shiny, smooth and vibrant with no crusty buildup. I didn't have to worry about having smelly breath during the day because my breath felt thoroughly clean afterwards.  The toothpaste is also safe for families with young children as it doesn't have fluoride, although, I personally prefer this in the toothpaste I use.

The best part is each toothpaste has an exotic blend of herbal ingredients. Such as pomegranate, neem, Bishop's weed, false black pepper, Indian gum Arabic Tree's, Triphala, and Five-leaved chaste tree. I can say I have never heard of many of these ingredients but unlike many other drugstore branded toothpaste these ingredients  are natural and can be found in nature. Each toothpaste is  free of carrageenan, SLS, Gluten and Fluoride free. With over 7 flavors, there is definitely something everyone can enjoy.

Supersmile On The Go Quikee Instant Whitening Polish

With a jam packed schedule, it's hard to find time to squeeze in all of life's demands. With a life on the go, sometimes it hard to find time or the resources to brush your teeth. When chewing gum doesn't cut it,  I usually use breathe strips.  When I saw this I thought I would give it a try as it promises to whiten teeth and freshen breath without the need to brush or rinse. The tasty gel goes on smoothly and left my breath fresh. Unfortunately, I didn't notice my teeth getting whiter.  Since, it was quite pricey at $18 a tube, I think I would skip on buying it again.

Tom’s of Maine Wicked Cool Toothpaste

This toothpaste is made for older kids [those who are a child at heart] who have outgrown kiddie flavored toothpaste like strawberries and bubblegum but don’t like overpowering mint flavor in regular toothpaste. Like Tom’s toothpaste it has no artificial dyes, sweeteners or flavors while strengthening enamel and freshening breath.  When I saw this I didn’t realize it was going to have a mild taste, I thought with a name as “Wicked Cool” it would be blast of cool mint. I like my toothpaste to leave my mouth with a strong minty taste as I usually have a two hour commute to work and people are thisclose to my face. The toothpaste does foam up well but I think I am going to save it for days when I am going to have breakfast after brushing and I don’t want a strong minty taste.

Burt's Bees Natural Toothpaste - Multicare with Fluoride

I bought the travel size version of this on a recent trip and it wasn’t what I expected. I thought it would be a bland tasting toothpaste that does a mediocre job. It was actually had a pleasant tasting [very tasty, indeed...waiting isn’t eating toothpaste frown upon?] toothpaste and it didn’t have a bad aftertaste. I did find the toothpaste a bit gritty and not as smooth other toothpastes.  Overall, it left my mouth feeling clean and refreshed. I am not sure if it actually whitens but I don’t really need to whiten my teeth. My go to whitening tip....don’t smile and it works every time and it’s free!
