L'oreal Paris Healthy Look Creme Gloss - 4RR Vibrant Dark Auburn

My hair before

How my hair looks after when hit with light.

The non-ammonia formula offers temporary hair color that washes out in 28 washes. Typically, when I use hair dye there a strong scent also my head sometimes burn. While, when I did wash out my hair and the chemical scent still strongly lingered -- I can safely say my head didn't burn when I applied the hair dye. The hair dye was easy to use, as the kit only came with the developer, colorant, gloves and hair mask, like most hair dye kits. The only thing I didn't like apart from the strong scent; it left on my hair but even after the first 8 washes, when I washed my hair, the hair dye was changing the water. It's not a big deal but not when you don't know and you are using a white towel. While, I know is temporary hair color, I didn't think it would last that long. Overall, I love the color and that it's not to harsh on my hair.

Macadamia Natural Oil – Healing Oil Treatment

It seems once, one company makes a hit product every company is trying to release their own version of that product. Five years ago, if you asked me if I used hair oil, I would have been mildly offended thinking you are asking if I use Rogaine or some “natural” remedy to cure my hair problems. Now, hair oil treatments are mainstream and the name no longer carries a negative meaning [well at least not for me anymore]. As much as I like the Moroccan oil, I wanted to see what else the market had to offer [a typical makeup lover that always want more J]. Like all the other oil treatments it promises to reduce drying time and improving hair quality. Along with providing UV protection and when added to hair dye prior to application it extends the life of the dye job [I haven’t tried this yet..I am giving my hair a break from the dye jobs]. My hair became soft and shiny. The only downside is that when I applied this oil to my newly washed hair it became really greasy.

Amika Obliphica Hair Treatment

I have used several hair treatments; many of them leave my hair greasy and tangled.  Thankfully, Amika Hair treatment is not one of them. The lightweight oil leaves my tresses softer, smoother and sleeker all after one application. To use, simply evenly distribute a couple drops of the oil through wet hair or dry hair. Apply before blow-drying to add a bit of sheen and no one can tell the difference between a professional blowout or one that you woke up 2 hours earlier to do.

Phyto Phytodefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm

I have tried tons of hair straighteners, anti-frizz serums, detanglers and countless mask applications. Nothing work as great as this did for me! It left my hair so soft, silky, less fizzy and shiny, that I just can't stop playing with my hair! This balm is applied to wet hair and make sure to comb out your hair to ensure that the product is  on evenly otherwise, it leaves little white patches of product in your hair. You can also continue with style as normal. This all natural balm is packed with plant mucilage, ferula, horseradish, sage and chamomile that moisturizes, smooths, straighten, and softens your hair.

Jonathan Create Smooth Anti-Frizz Volumizing Serum

My hair does not know what the hell it wants to be. Some days, I will have really straight, wavy, curly or frizzy hair. Sometimes one side would be curly, the other straight, or wavy. I have been told on numerous occasions, that I have ‘memorable’ hair, not because it is really nice but because people cannot describe it. Well, to help ease one of the many ‘symptoms’ of my hair, I decided to try coveted Jonathan Anti-Frizz serum, so maybe then my hair will at least be less frizzy. The product should be applied to damp hair and then style as usual. I usually apply the product after towel drying my hair. The serum is very thick and leaves your hands sticky. Make sure to fully distribute the product throughout your hair; otherwise you well end up with patches of gunk in hair [trust me it’s not something you want to have]. I noticed when the product dries that it leaves little white flakes on some parts on my hair. The serum did combat some frizz but not that much to make a noticeable difference or to justify the hefty price tag [around $30]. I don’t believe this serum was worth the sticky feeling and white flakes just to smooth a bit frizz. I have learn that combing with a boar bristle brush before washing your hair and running it through one more time when its partially dry leaves your hair less frizzy and shiny.
