The sweet scented hand cream is enriched Shea butter and macadamia nut oil. The softly scented lotion has notes of lavender, bee blossom honey, white orchids, violet and Indian Amber. The hand cream absorbed quickly and it left my hands feeling smooth and soft.

Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque

For my 26th birthday, I decided  to tour Copenhagen [and Arhus], Paris, Amsterdam and Kiles for my birthday. While I thought I was enriching my soul and spirit I didn't realize that I was ruining my hair in the process. My hair sadly, no matter how much conditioner, oils and love I put in it,  I was still getting a dry scalp. I had bought a travel size packet of this to use during a down day as way for when I got homesick I had something familiar. The macadamia, argan, tea tree, and chamomile oil enriched hair masque made my frizzy dry hair super smooth and soft. While I find the mask very rich and  `heavy´, I found using a small amount or mixing it regular conditioner does a better job as it wouldn’t make my hair feel weighed down. The deep conditioning masque is also packed with aloe and algae extract that left hair smell yummy and not overpowering. I love this masque although it is a bit pricey, I will be bringing it whenever I travel.

Verve Organics Soul Sister Lavender Nut Sugar Scrub

With an ingredient list that sounds like a recipe - turbinado sugar, coconut oil, macadamia nut oil and lavender oil, it smells good enough to eat! The gritty body scrub exfoliated my dry skin and left it soft and moisturized after stepping out of the shower. While it was recommend for use on your feet, I used it all over my body for silky smooth skin. The lavender scent is soft and barely scented my skin.

Macadamia Natural Oil – Healing Oil Treatment

It seems once, one company makes a hit product every company is trying to release their own version of that product. Five years ago, if you asked me if I used hair oil, I would have been mildly offended thinking you are asking if I use Rogaine or some “natural” remedy to cure my hair problems. Now, hair oil treatments are mainstream and the name no longer carries a negative meaning [well at least not for me anymore]. As much as I like the Moroccan oil, I wanted to see what else the market had to offer [a typical makeup lover that always want more J]. Like all the other oil treatments it promises to reduce drying time and improving hair quality. Along with providing UV protection and when added to hair dye prior to application it extends the life of the dye job [I haven’t tried this yet..I am giving my hair a break from the dye jobs]. My hair became soft and shiny. The only downside is that when I applied this oil to my newly washed hair it became really greasy.
