Book Review - Best Day Ever by Kaira Rouda

Paul and Mia Strom have the perfect life. Paul is an advertising executive for a prestige firm, he has a beautiful wife with two healthy boys along with two houses. Paul is the perfect husband; he is the breadwinner, the protector, and the provider.

Mia has been very sick lately, so Paul decided to plan a very special romantic weekend at their lake house for the two of them. However, while Paul and Mia drive to the lakeside, tensions and emotions are running rampant.  There is an unspoken truth that is haunting both Paul and Mia. How much does Paul and Mia know about each other? Is there such a thing as a perfect marriage?

The novel was very engaging and fun read. I love how reading the novel, you know not everything is as perfect as Paul makes it seem. Just reading how he describes his family and his life, you are waiting for the dark truth to actually come out.  And when you do find out about the dark secrets, holy smokes, does the novel keep you guessing! A definite must read for readers who love thrillers and perfect to make a commute to work fun (just don't miss your stop).

Smooth Viking Beard Oil, Balm & Conditioner

I received a sample for these products in exchange for a review.  While I did not have a beard, I gave it to my friend who has a full lumber jack beard going on. The three products can be used together for a softer and manageable beard or separately; it depends on how intricate you want your grooming protocol to be or how much product want to use.  The beard oil helps protect against an itchy beard and keeps the skin moisturized and nourish while keep beard hair neat, smooth, soft and tangle fee. The beard balm provides hold and shaping to tame even the untameable beards or just to give your beard a nifty do!  And the beard conditioner protects against dry brittle beard hair by keeping hairs hydrated. Both the beard balm and conditioner is packed with mango butter, shea butter, beeswax, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, argan and castor oil to provide skin and beard with a luxurious feeling.  My friend was super ecstatic to receive the free products and he loves how great they feel and work but to quote him "using three products a day is too much unless my girlfriend likes my skin and even then it is too much to remember". Overall, he likes the products and that they are affordable and easy to use but he just has to remember to use them!

Burt's Bees Natural Skin Care for Men Body Wash

I originally bought this body wash for my brother but I ran out of body wash one day I used this instead. I ended up liking it and started using his body wash more than my own.  The citrus smelling body wash is packed with coconut, cypress, fir and sunflower oils, vitamin B, soy proteins and citrus that moisturize and energize you awake in the morning. The best part is that it is all natural and free from harmful chemicals. The only downside to this body wash is that has mediocre lather.
