Rituals Himalaya Scrub Sweet Almond Oil & Indian Rose

I love body scrubs and I am a huge fan of Rituals products. Their products can be quite expensive but, during the holidays, I find that they offer generous "gifts with purchase" along with discounts on items.

The body scrub had a delicate sweet rose scent that remained on my skin long after I washed off the body scrub. The salt scrub is enriched with almond oil to leave skin feeling soft without having that stripped skin feeling.

Dermstore Lip Quench

The lip treatment promises to hydrate and soften lips. It is enriched with soybean, olive and sweet almond oil to treat dry and chapped  and dry lips. The lip gloss takes a bit of work to get out and it went on a bit clumpy. It had a bit of weird texture and taste  --- a bit below regular lip glosses and treatment. I wish they would stop sending these as bonus presents and a part of the subscription boxes.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream

The rich cream is packed with 25% concentration of shea butter with a sweet scent of Jasmine. The whipped cream is packed with extracts of linseed, mallow, sweet almond and honey along with apricot oil and Vitamin E. The body cream is thick [perfect for the winter] but still light enough for the summer. It made my skin, soft, smooth and left a soft delicate scent on my skin. I love applying this after exfoliating [with Sundari Gotu Kola and Walnut Body Exfoliator] and then going to bed and waking to super soft skin.

Smooth Viking Beard Oil, Balm & Conditioner

I received a sample for these products in exchange for a review.  While I did not have a beard, I gave it to my friend who has a full lumber jack beard going on. The three products can be used together for a softer and manageable beard or separately; it depends on how intricate you want your grooming protocol to be or how much product want to use.  The beard oil helps protect against an itchy beard and keeps the skin moisturized and nourish while keep beard hair neat, smooth, soft and tangle fee. The beard balm provides hold and shaping to tame even the untameable beards or just to give your beard a nifty do!  And the beard conditioner protects against dry brittle beard hair by keeping hairs hydrated. Both the beard balm and conditioner is packed with mango butter, shea butter, beeswax, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, argan and castor oil to provide skin and beard with a luxurious feeling.  My friend was super ecstatic to receive the free products and he loves how great they feel and work but to quote him "using three products a day is too much unless my girlfriend likes my skin and even then it is too much to remember". Overall, he likes the products and that they are affordable and easy to use but he just has to remember to use them!

Wen Fig Cleansing Conditoner

The five in one [shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler and leave - in conditioner] conditioning cleanser is packed with aloe leaf juice, fig, and sweet almond oil. The cleanser promises to improve the condition of hair, reduce frizz and retain color.  The cleansing conditioner is free of sulfates and phthalates and provides lightweight, low lather conditioning to hair.  I love the sweet floral scent but I found the cleansing conditioner was too rich. It made my hair feel greasy, sticky, and  heavy. I felt like someone dropped a bucket of gel on my hair and it dried and got tacky. I think my hair is too thick for the conditioner so I usually mix this cleansing conditioner with my regular conditioner to make my hair more manageable.  I probably would not buy this again.
