March 2021 Empties!

Oh wow, it's already March! I feel like it was just January. Although, with the crappy weather I am excited for more sunny days.

I finished quite a few things and I am keeping my momentum of finishing stuff. I am so happy but, let's ignore the face that I definitely bought more than I used.  The few sheet masks I finished, I loved using the Karuna and the Simply When masks. My face felt so hydrated and so soft after application.

I was surprised how much I liked the Purlisse Watermelon cleanser. It left my face feeling clean without feeling stripped and it smelled amazing!  When I got the Brooklyn & Bailey Lash Next Door the mascara felt a bit dry but, after a few uses the mascara was completely dry. I felt like I was sent old product. I am not going to buy another tube from this brand because the first use wasn't impressive to warrant another buy.

Have you finished anything this month that you would recommend?

Purlisse Watermelon Energizing Face Sheet Mask

The Purlisse watermelon mask is enriched with watermelon, aloe vera, cucumber. The mask fits well and it left my face feeling refreshed and glowy. I sometimes pop these mask in the fridge for an ultra cooling effect that feels like a treat. However, for $5 per mask, it can be a bit pricey and so, I usually get the pack.

Yves Rocher Jardins du Monde Brazilian Watermelon

I love this Jolly Ranch scented body wash. At first, I thought it would be too strong and come off as childish. But boy was I wrong! The sweet sophisticated scent softly lingered throughout the day. I wore this on a date and my date couldn’t stop trying to sniff me. Of course, he was a bit creepy and I tried moving away but I could see why he was infatuated with the scent and how soft my skin felt. The body gel provided a nice lather and was moisturizing. All in all, I would put this in my regular rotation for body wash.

Burt’s Bees – Watermelon Lip Shimmer

As an avid fan of both Burt’s Bees and their lip balms, I couldn’t wait to try their much lauded lip shimmer. It is packed with vitamin E, beeswax, sunflower and coconut oil. The lip shimmer gave a pretty sheer wash of color and left a bit of shimmer behind. Although, it didn’t provide enough moisture and my lips felt dry after 15 minutes or so after application. I love the color and how it nicely brightens up my face with color but I might have to use a lip balm under this shimmer so my lip doesn’t dry up.
