Davines Minu Shampoo

The fresh citrus scented shampoo promises to help hair retain its color during washing. The eco-friendly shampoo promises to safely and gently cleanse hair while protecting color so it lasts longer. It is packed with caper blossom extract and a blend of surfactants to leave hair shiny, refreshed and not weighed down. When I got the shampoo I was in love with the scent (I have a few remaining strands of colored hair) but fell out of love with it after a few uses. It was an expensive bottle to throw away, I gave it to my roommate who loved the scent. We didn’t notice any color guarding but they would be purchasing the shampoo again because they loved the scent.

Key West Aloe - Gentle Aloe Facial Cleanser 30% Aloe Triple Action Performance

The gentle facial cleanser is composed of 30% aloe to remove tough makeup while soothing skin. The pH-balanced cleanser has soft citrus scent. The cleanser went on smoothly and provided a mediocre lather. It didn’t remove most of my eye makeup including my mascara and eyeliner. However, my face didn’t feel tight or rough after using the cleanser. A good cleanser for those who don’t use makeup and has sensitive skin...all else, skip.

Salus Organic Lotion Bar - Lemongrass

The organic lotion bar is a lush mix of organic shea butter, organic cocoa butter, sunflower oil, organic coconut oil, and organic beeswax. The lotion bars were moisturizing and delicately scented but it left my skin feeling a bit greasy and I found the need to constantly reapply lotion throughout the day.

Bliss Treat Yourself Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask

The vitamin C enriched formula delivers a shot of oxygen using FluidO2 to skin to brighten up skin’s complexion. The time released antioxidants moisturize skin and revitalized dull and lackluster skin. The citrus scented mask goes on smoothly and foams up. After washing the mask off, my face felt refresh and reenergized but a bit tight. After applying some lotion, my face felt better and looked ah-mazingly relaxed.

Jock Soap Bloody Orange Body Soap

The glycerin soap had a delicate citrus scent. I didn't notice the scent lingering my skin after my shower. It didn't leave skin feeling sticky or waxy.   The soap didn't provide a generous lather and the soap didn't last very long. It also didn't hydrate my skin. A definite mediocre soap.

Sumbody BathMelt - Milky Rich

The cute bath melt comes in 4 sections which allows you to use as little or much as your heart desires. Personally, I didn’t find this bath bomb intoxicating (promised scents of vanilla and fresh citrus, I sniffed neither) and it was rather meh sniffing to me. The silky bath melt is packed with Pacific sea salt, cocoa butter, goat milk, and  sodium bicarbonate. The bath was a bit slippery because of the oil blends, so please be careful. My skin was silky smooth (I used all four squares) but I noticed the bath melt didn’t melt completely and kind of morphed into a little ball and stayed in the bath with me. It was kind of weird looking. Overall, for around $6 I am in no rush to try this again.

Seductively French Citrus Sorbet Body Lotion

I had a gift card from the holidays and I came across this body lotion and I thought I would give it a try. It was pretty expensive at $38 at 8oz. I figured it either has to be really good or it’s mediocre and I just overpaid. The sweet scented sorbet body lotion went on smoothly almost like whipped cream. The body lotion is 98% natural and 83% organic ingredients and is formulated without parabens, phthalates, synthetic coloring, DEA, silicone, PEG, PGG and aluminum. The sumptuous body lotion is packed  with green tea, aloe, and shea butter that absorbed quickly into my skin and didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. I loved putting on this soft decadent lotion and waking up with softer, smoother and delicately scented.

Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser

I have heard many good things about the Suki skin care brand and I decided to get this cleanser. I had thought I wrote a review about this as this my second bottle.  Alas, I digress. The cleanser has a sweet citrusy scent, thanks to the lemongrass extract. At first, when I ordered the product I was very curious how the sugar based scrub would be foaming.  It is quite interesting, that you take a little bit of product and mix a bit of water and rub your hands together with the product in the middle and it starts to foam. You then apply that foam to your face and wait a couple of minutes to wash it off. The cleanser does a good job exfoliate and it left my skin a bit tight the first time but my skin was so smooth and soft. I use this once a week to keep my skin fresh and clear.

Pino Facial Mask in Milk & Honey

The best way to relax after stressful week is to apply a nice facial mask and binge watch TV shows. The facial mask is packed with honey extracts, soothing milk proteins,  and pro-vitamin B5. The mask had a citrusy scent with a bit of honey and milk notes but it was a bit strong especially since this mask is made for people with sensitive skin. After removing the mask, my skin scented with the citrusy scent and my face felt a bit tight afterwards. My face did feel softer, smoother, and a bit more radiant as soon as I removed the mask. After applying a bit of lotion, my skin looked and felt amazing. I would definitely get this again if it wasn’t 10 masks for $80. While it isn’t the most expensive masks, I might wait until I have a bit more discretionary spending money for before I get it again :)

Basq Citrus Sugar Body Polish

Exfoliating gets rid of the dead cells on top while promoting cellular renewal on the lower levels. This body polish is packed with whipped shea butter, essentials oils, jojoba, rosehip, grapeseed, wheat germ, hazelnut oil and Illipe butter to hydrate, moisturize, nourish and exfoliate.  The citrus sugar scrub has scents of neroli but it was a bit overpowering  for me. The sugar scrub was liquidly which made it easy to scoop  up. I like how the scrub lathers and foams up when I rub it in. I love how soft, smooth, and moisturized it left my skin. I also like how softly the delicate scent was on my skin.
