Camille Beckman Glycerine Hand Therapy - French Vanilla

The French vanilla hand therapy lotion is packed with Glycerine, vitamin E, aloe vera, wheat protein, almond oil and plant extracts. This creamy hand cream left my hands feeling soft and lightly scented of vanilla. The cream was long lasting but it was a bit greasy.  I like the .25 oz pursette size, it is very small and conveniently fits into even my smallest bag.

Bath and Body Works – Country Chic body wash

I work within 7 minutes of my local Bath and Body Works. As usual, during lunch time and especially during the holidays BBW was packed. Trying to avoid the crowds, I was mostly browsing the corner displays. I came across this lovely floral scented body wash. I am especially fond of floral scents; they always seem to take me to my happy place. The body wash lathers well and leaves my skin freshly scented. It does provide ample moisture but the best thing about this body wash is the great aroma it leaves in your skin. The scent might be too strong for some, so try the travel size before committing to the full size if possible.

Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly - Shampoo and Conditioner

I have been a fan of Herbal Essences, since I was in High School. Although, they had slightly fell out of favor with me after noticing they mostly had a nice scent but no other benefits.  The tousle me softly shampoo and conditioner redeemed my faith in this brand. Apart from the delicious scent, it lathers well and rinses off very cleanly. I also love how it eloquently it makes my short straight hair slightly wavy without using any extra products or heat styling. I got tons of compliments and questions about how great my hair looks and how soft it feels.

Nivea Touch of Cashmere

This creamy oil body wash left my skin silky. It lathers well and is enriched with cashmere proteins.  The orchid blossom scent invigorated my senses in the shower and left my skin lightly fragranced. I also noticed my skin had a healthy looking sheen afterwards. I will definitely pick up a couple more bottles of this when it goes on sale.

Davi Moscato Purifying Cleanser

The moscato purifying cleanser is formulated with glycerin, coconut-derived emollient and grapeseed oil. I love how soft and clean my skin feels after using this cleanser. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight. The creamy texture strips away dirt and cleans clogged pores and leaves skin feeling radiant. This is one of my favorite cleansers, although it is very expensive. If you see this on sale, definitely get it!

GlamRock Bath Fizzer – Melon Fizz

While glossing over last month’s Fitness issue, I came across an article describing the health benefits of a warm bath. I started thinking, I could go for a bath…after all it had been awhile since I had one. This Bath Fizzer was more of a novelty than an actual bath product. The bath fizzer was covered in gold glitter, which was nice but kind of messy. The scent disappeared rather quickly and it didn’t really leave my skin feeling softer or hydrated.  The bath frizz turned the water first a champagne color and then gradually turned into a caramel color. While I would not use this as my go to bath ball it would make a nice stocking stuffer or a gag gift. On side note, the shape of this bath fizzer reminded me of Paco Rabanne Lady Million perfume.

Korres Guava Shower Gel

As a longtime fan of Korres Fig Shower Gel, I couldn’t wait to try the other scent in the line. The guava scent was absolutely great. This formula did lather well but it was not as thick and long lasting as the Fig formulation. The scent lightly lingered after showering and my skin was hydrated. As much as I love a thick foaming body wash, I am completely in love with the sweet smell of guava.

Pop Beauty Glitter Must Have

Let me just say this: I LOVE GLITTER!! When I came across this set, I just had to get it. While it was a good concept, I was quite disappointed. For $15 you get an array of 12 colors, with mediocre quality like art craft glitter. The containers were very tiny. They were a bit smaller than my pinky. The glitter is loose which means you need something else to bind it [lotion, primer] to the skin otherwise it will get messy. But it can also be a good thing, because you can use the glitter for various uses, such as your hair, body, and/or face. Since there is no sifter and the applicator is very poorly designed, if the tube is not carefully handled, the whole contents of the tube can end up on the floor [talking from experience:(]. While the colors are nice, I think I'd rather skip this set next time and buy the loose glitter for beauty supplier like Ulta or Sally Beauty which has the same quality but a bigger size for less money.
