Aveeno Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55

When my favorite sunscreen finished before I had a chance to buy another one, I just went into the drugstore and picked any random sunscreen. I am really excited I came across this sunscreen. It is absolutely amazing! Most sunscreen leaves my face with a whitey residue, shiny and sticky. The sunscreen left my face feeling smooth, soft and matte unlike what I usually expect from other sunscreens. I would definitely buy this again.

BBW Winter Candy Apple Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Hand Lotion

When I first came across this lotion I was intoxicated by the sweet allure of it. After I bought this I couldn’t wait to try it out. I instantly became disheartened when I noticed that it was an antibacterial lotion with Triclosan. As I am a germ freak, I carry and have tried tons of hand sanitizers.  Most of them dry out my hand or leave my hands sticky.  I assumed that this lotion would either leave my hand sticky or dry it out because of the triclosan.  But this lotion did not disappoint. It left my hand soft, sweetly scented and clean from germs [or so I assume and will continue to believe]. The lotion is enriched with vitamin B and E and wheat germ oil which gave its moisturizing properties.

Keri Shea Butter Conditioning Therapy Lotion

In the late winter and early summer my skin looks like a scaly desert. As unpleasant as that sounds it feels more unpleasant. Apart from the dry scaly appearance, my skin is also itchy and just quite uncomfortable. I have heard of the moisturizing and hydrating effects of shea butter and I heard this lotion had ample amounts of shea butter. The lotion is very thick, greasy and leaves a sticky residue because of the shea butter. I usually wear it a bit before going bed [I don’t like wearing lotion after showering] to allow it to fully absorb, otherwise I would stick to the sheets and everything else, but when I wake up my skin is soft and renewed. I use this as a weekly treatment rather than a daily lotion.

Sex in the City Body Lotion

I came across this lotion when I was cleaning my room. I am not even sure how I got it.  The scent was atrocious and the lotion was runny. It was however very moisturizing and non-greasy.   I would probably not use it again, unless it was free. Then again I would use almost anything if it was free.

VMV Hypoallergenics Re-Everything Lotion

My hands are constantly dry no matter how many inches of lotion I pile on. I read online that this lotion gives the skin the appearance of a post peel glow. I couldn’t wait to try it.  The thick lotion goes on smoothly and my skin does look dewy after application, but it did have a bit of a greasy feel.  My hands did remain soft and smooth throughout the day. The glycolic acid removes dead skin and kinetin growth factor speeds up cell renewal. The glycerin locks in the moisture and green tea and rice phytic has proven anti-aging effects.  An added bonus for anyone who is hypoallergenic, the lotion is fragrance, dye, phthalate, paraben and preservative free.  The lotion is quite pricy, $45 for a 6.3 oz bottle, so try it out first to see if you like it.
