C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint - Magneta Mint

I love C.O. Bigelow’s Mentha lip gloss. The sparkly subtle red tint goes on thick but it is not sticky. I love how my breath gets minty when I apply it on my lips. The gloss is long lasting and it leaves my lips feeling soft.

TheBalm - Stainaic

I love the premise of this multi-use stain. The idea of having one product doing multiple things and make not only my life easier but I get to carry less is absolutely amusing. I was a bit disenchanted when this product didn’t live up to my expectations.  The consistency was a bit watery which is a bit understandable since it would make it easier to blend on both the cheeks and lips. The color was very sheer and hardly noticeable on my lips, while being blatantly looks painted on and harsh on my cheeks.  The blush didn’t look real and was very difficult to blend. The stain itself was long lasting. Overall, I don’t think I will use this on my cheeks and use this as a base on my lips.

Sex in the City- Kiss Perfumed Shower Gel

I finally came across the second part of the gift set. The shower gel turned out to be more promising than the perfumed body lotion counterpart. While it still had the same scent as the body lotion and perfume; the body gel’s scent was a lighter and not as overpowering.  The gel provided a good amount of lather and left a soft lingering scent. Overall, this was the best part of the Sex in the City gift set.

Victoria Secrets Pink Vanilla & Shea Butter Body Lotion

I came across this body lotion while canvassing the outlet mall. The creamy body lotion has a nice fresh scent. Even though the scent is vanilla and shea butter, I couldn’t smell any of the vanilla.  The non-greasy formula does an average job of keeping my skin moisturized. I used to keep bottle on my desk but it didn’t keep my hands from looking scaly and dry but my hands smelled great. I know why this was 85% off at Victoria Secret.

Philosophy Purity One Step Facial Cleanser

I am a big fan of Philosophy stuff. I love their quirky packaging, their delectable scents and simple formulas. This fragrance free formula is formulated with natural oil extracts of sage, chamomile and carrot to help hydrate and moisturize skin. The pH-balanced Purity one step facial cleanser is a good no frills facial cleanser. I use this days when my face feels sensitive and I don’t want to irritate or dry out my skin with a harsh cleanser.  It removes most of my tough to remove makeup even my waterproof mascara without me having really rub my face until it burns.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector

Dark circles are the tell-tale sign of the late night before or one too many sleep deprived nights. While I don’t have prominent dark circles and no one seems to notice them [or they are just being nice], I still notice them.  These color specific pens promise to brighten eyes, de-puff and provide SPF protection. The eye perfector is packed with antioxidants, vitamin E, soy and wild chamomile. When I bought mines in the drugstore, I had hard time picking a color since there was little window showing the actual color of the product. I ended up picking a shade to light for my skin tone. When I use the eye perfector on my eyes, it left a chalky residue and looks obvious that I used something to cover up my dark circles, as my eye area was three shades lighter. I resolved to use it during the night as I didn’t want to throw it away. My eyes did look smoother and the dark circles did diminish in appearance.  I also like the pen applicator because it made it easier to place the product in all the right places and the precision tip made it easy not to waste any product. When I finish this one, hopefully I pick the right color next time, so I can actually use it as the way it made too.
