DIY Strand Savers

Shine Amplifier
½  cup apple cider vinegar
1. Pour apple cider vinegar into a spray bottle and spritz hair, using a comb to evenly distribute it.
2. Let the product sink in and wash out to break down the product buildup that makes your locks look dull.

Miracle Moisturizer
1 ripe avocado
1 egg
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp coconut oil
1. Mix the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
2. Apply the creamy mixture to dry hair from midshaft to ends and cover with a  shower cap. The fats and proteins team up to smooth damage and hydrate thirsty locks.
3.  Let it sit for 25 minutes and then rinse. If your hair feels extra dry, dampen a towel with hot water and wrap it around your shower cap - the heat opens up your hair follicle, so the treatment really gets in there.

Dandruff Blaster
2 aspirin crushed
1 tbsp water
2 tbsp greek yogurt
1.  Dissolve the aspirin in water, and then stir in the yogurt and massage the mixture directly onto your scalp. Use a comb to a section hair for easy scalp access.
2. Leave it on for 10 minutes. The aspirin helps break down those pesky white flakes, and the yogurt gives your scalp mega hydration so they won’t sneak up you again!
3. Shampoo and condition as usual and use weekly.

Strand Strengthener
¼ cup full fat plain yogurt
2 tbsp olive oil
1. Stir together yogurt and olive oil and comb it from roots to ends.
2. Leave it on for 20 minutes and say see ya damage! The oil coats each hair, protecting it, while the yogurt infuses protein back in.
3. Shampoo and condition and you're set!

Frizz Zapper
2 tbsp coconut oil, liquefied
2 tbsp avocado oil
1.  Pour both oils into small spray bottle and shake together.
2. Tame frizz and hide those split ends! Mist the driest, frizziest areas of your hair, and avoid your roots.
3. It’s a serum, so don’t rinse it out. Just style as usual and look fab all day!
