Book Review - Coloring Christmas Devotions by Lizzie Preston and Claire McElfatrick

Ah, I can hardly believe that the holidays are around the corner. It's seems just yesterday I was huddled together with my SO trying to keep warm while waiting for the ball to drop. Although, to be fair, I am excited that the holidays are coming. It is like the only best time of the year. The coloring book includes devotions on one side of the book and on the accompany pages it includes an intricate coloring page. A fun and perfect activity for the holidays!

Book Review - Pop Manga Coloring Book by Camilla d'Errico

Let me preface the review by saying, I am a huge Manga fan. I sometimes, dream of coloring in my manga books which I know is a big no-no and I can't color in the lines to save my life. When I came across this coloring book I knew I had to try it.  Manga artist Camila d'Errico created her first ever adult coloring book filled with portraits, patterns and abstract designs. The coloring book was beautifully designed and the drawings were intricately drawn. Although some of the designs looked like soft sketches. They look like they were hastily through in just to "finish up" the book along with some drawings looked repetitive.

Book Review - Wonderland by Amily Shen

The 80 page coloring book was inspired by the Alice in Wonderland story.  The coloring book also has a few pages of activities such as a maze, draw your own butterfly, and hide and seek in the pictures. A fun fact even the dust cover is removable and has illustrations on them (however, I am not sure if you can color them in). The paper is a bit thin so I would recommend using color pencil instead of colored markers for the book. The illustrations follow certain parts of the story and not just in any random order. The book is split into mini chapters with a blurbs for each photo. The book has a bit more whitespace than drawings on some parts though. The reason why I gave this activity book three stars is because the illustrations didn't seem very refined and a bit childish.
