October 2020 Haul Part 2!

This is one of my bigger hauls this month because October is my birth month! And it's one of the greatest months, if I may say so myself. And there is no better way than buying way more stuff than I can possibly use to celebrate my birthday. I got so many lip products I don't even know where I am going to store it...let alone wear them all. However, this has never stopped me before...

I am excited to try the Ole Henriksen Phat Facial. I used to get facials more often before COVID but, now I rely on more store bought products to keep my skin in line. The mask is supposed to mimic getting a facial with exfoliating acids. I can definitely go for some glowing skin after spending so much time under a mask.

I had good experiences with Elemis products and I am excited to try their moisturizer and jelly mask. I have tried their clay mask from this product line and my skin was noticeable different. I am hoping with the jelly mask and the moisturizer my skin will be revitalized because it has been looking a bit dull lately.

I heard of the brand Byroe but, I haven't tried any of their products yet. I got their tomato serum which looks interesting. Because I am getting older, the weather getting colder, and I have dry skin I been trying to hydrate and moisturize more often.

And of course I can't wait to try all of the different lip products! I got a few from Stowaway Cosmetics, Fenty Beauty, Stila, Urban Decay, Hank and Henry, and a few others. Have you tried any of the products?

Ahava DeadSea Water Mineral Body Exfoliator

The 2-in-1 everyday use body exfoliator is enriched with red algae and Dead Sea minerals to cleanse and exfoliate skin. The formula promises to moisturize and stimulate skin renewal to leave skin hydrated, smooth, soft and radiant. My skin felt smooth and soft but I followed up with lotion to make my skin feel hydrated. The exfoliator utilizes microbeads which has recently come under fire for it’s environmental impact. While the scrub is nice, I think I would stick to my sugar scrubs instead.

AHAVA Pure Salt Revival Bath Salts: Mandarin – Cedarwood

After finishing your entire to do list for the week, the last thing you want to do is anything else. Taking some time to indulge in you is what the body, mind and soul needs. A bath is the best way to unwind and renew your senses.  I have used Ahava products for a while but I have not noticed anything special about them. These bath salts have changed my perceptions about this brand. The citrus scent is invigorating and the scent lingers long after my bath finished. My skin was left soft and smooth. I can’t wait until my next bath!

Ahava Dermud Enriched Intensive Foot Cream

The freezing cold takes a harsh toll on your skin. It leaves them dry, itching, cracked. Most of the time we take care of our face, hands and body but neglect to take care of our feet.

Applying Ahava Dermud foot cream before you go to bed and wake up with softer and smoother feet. The mud is formulated with Dead Sea mud, minerals and plant derivatives. The formula is paraben free, dermatologist tested, approved for sensitive skin and allergy tested.

After thoroughly pampering your feet, it is time to slip on those sandals and hit the beach!

Ahava Pure Melt Body Sorbet Caress: Syringa - Green Apple

The world – renowned Ahava is well known for their products rich in Dead Sea minerals. They are in almost every beauty store and spas world wide. Some how or the other this product did not seem to live up to their brand image of good quality; heck it might have even tarnished it. Even though this cream gel melt is packed with Dead Sea Minerals, vitamins E and B5, Aloe Vera leaf juice, and chamomile extract it still left my skin feeling dry. The little moisture it does provide is gone within 1 hour of applying. The texture of the melt itself is very watery.  The scent of Syringa and Green Apple is very light. When I first bought the cream melt, the fragrance was sweet but after couple of uses, the scent became very disgusting. I am not sure if it is because the jar itself or the formula; that causes the cream to have that pungent stench.
