Bliss Lemon & Sage Soapy Suds Body Wash + Bubbling Bath

I bought this travel size version for one my weekend trips and was so glad I did. The scent was very lemony but it was quite sophisticated and didn’t smell like floor cleaner. I am guessing that because of hints of sage blended in. I also like how you can use it as a body wash or as a bubble bath. I have only used it as a body wash and I absolutely in love with it. The body wash gives a generous lather and leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth while leaving my skin delicately scented. My only qualm is the bottle was a bit hard and when I used both hands, nothing was coming out but when I used one hand the product came out more freely. I am hoping they did that intentionally so you don’t squeeze out too much product at once. I do have a really bad habit of using a lot of product for everything. When they say use a dime size, I use a quarter size.

St. Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter Moisturizing Body Wash

When I think of oatmeal and shea butter, the last thing I think of is something sweet and floral scented. This body wash has this weird scent, as doesn’t smell like oatmeal cookies but has a  more  sophisticated “floral” scent. The creamy body wash is formulated with oatmeal, shea butter, 100% natural glycerin,  and pure swiss glacial water. My skin during the winter, well hot weather too,  my skin gets scaly and ashy. To my surprise, this rich body wash kept my skin hydrated, moisturized and sooo smooth and soft! Even though, I was using my boiling hot water my skin didn’t even feel stripped or dehydrated. This hypoallergenic and paraben free body wash is my go to whenever my skin needs a bit of pampering.

Caress Daily Silk Silkening Body Wash Nature's Silk

This irresistible blend of white peach and silk blossom with triple silkening moisturizer that softens and smooths skin to the touch. The body wash provides a luxurious lather and imparts a soft delicate scent. I love how soft my skin was and the soft scent is perfect for the treat for the “It’s hot as hell, why am I wearing clothes” summer.

Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Hydrating Cream Cleanser for the Body

My mom loves 5th Avenue and I can’t remember if I bought the set and got the body wash with it. The body wash was very creamy but it gave a mediocre lather. It did have a bit of an overpowering scent but it wore off after I got out of the shower. Overall, I am glad I didn’t buy this separately as it is a bit disappointing.

Caress Body Wash - Wild Blossom

I came across this body wash while cleaning one of many, many stashes [okay, I am a hoarder] of products. As you can probably tell this body wash is actually a bit old as they have a new curvier bottle design. I was a bit hesitant to use it but I hate to throw away a full bottle. I am surprised the body still smelled great and provided an luxurious lather. I am usually very wary of products that give good lather because I always feel that they would leave my skin dry. I am happy to report this was not the case with this body wash. I am kind of sad, that I only found one bottle of this body wash as I don’t see this scent in Walgreens or Rite Aid.

Skin & Co Bagnodoccia Sicilian Body Gel

This delicately scented shower gel is packed with zesty ingredients  like orange, rosemary extracts and olive oil which were sourced from Italy. The body wash left my skin feeling soft and lather decently enough. It was okay body gel and I probably won’t be buying it again. I wasn’t too fond of the scent but I did make me wish I was in Italy though!

The Body Shop Love ETC... Body Wash

The soap free body wash gives a nice rich later. It has has notes of jasmine, vanilla, sandalwood, pear, neroli, bergamot, heliotrope, lily of the valley, and musk cream. While it seems like it might be overwhelming, it actually has a pretty subtle scent. I do love how my skin was nicely scented afterwards and soft. The Love body wash is just like its namesake, complex, complicated but so warm that you can’t live without it.

Wash with Joe Body Wash

Wash with Joe body wash combines the beneficial properties of coffee with mint to make an uplifting everyday body wash. Coffee is not only an antioxidant, it is known for being a natural deodorizer and repairs UV damage. The body wash does a have minty scent with a hint of coffee. The body wash has syrup coffee consistency that lathers well and immerses you in a soft minty scent while  you sud up. I did notice I got a tingly feeling, which must be from the essential mint oil. This was especially welcome during hot my - where - the -@#!$!# - am - I- commute to work.

St. Ives Vitamin E Body Wash

During the harsh winter months, my skin becomes dry and starts resembling the desert [not a pretty sight, I assure you]. This soft sweet scented body wash replenishes the lost moisture in my skin. My skin feels so soft and doesn’t feel as dry, thanks to the vitamin E. Vitamin E helps fight signs of aging and helps regulate moisture in your skin making this an ideal body wash for the cold months. The creamy body wash is softly fragranced and lathers well.  I tend to buy this body wash in bulk during the winter as it doesn’t leaving my skin feeling rough or dry.

I love the sweet intoxicating scent of this creamy body wash and the soft lingering scent was just as delectable. It gives off a generous lather and leaves my skin silky smooth and soft. The hydrating body wash is packed with milk proteins, acai berry, and soybean and rice bran oil.  This is one of my favorite scent from Bath and Body Works.

Burt's Bees Natural Skin Care for Men Body Wash

I originally bought this body wash for my brother but I ran out of body wash one day I used this instead. I ended up liking it and started using his body wash more than my own.  The citrus smelling body wash is packed with coconut, cypress, fir and sunflower oils, vitamin B, soy proteins and citrus that moisturize and energize you awake in the morning. The best part is that it is all natural and free from harmful chemicals. The only downside to this body wash is that has mediocre lather.

Zest Moisturizing Body Wash - Ocean Breeze

During the hot sweaty months of summer, this body wash is a lifesaver. Some might argue that it is packed with a chemical fragrance and synthetic ingredients. Well, I say to hell with that, because when you‘re packed tighter than sardines in a tin on the morning train commute and someone who smells less than pleasant isthisclosetoyou, you will be thanking Zest for the clean scent. Not only does the body wash impart pleasant scent , it is also very moisturizing.  I am mostly fond of this body wash because of the long lasting scent.

Softsoap Pure Cashmere Hydrating Body Wash

This soft flowery scented body wash is a great drugstore buy.  The body wash was hydrating and left my skin moisturized for the whole day.  The formula is thick and creamy and lathered very well. The body wash is packed with cashmere extract and moisturizing cream. While my skin felt clean and soft, I would still recommend following up with a lotion.

Weleda Pomegranate Creamy Body Wash

After reading many stellar reviews about this company and my fondness of pomegranate, I could not wait to try this body wash.  I was not disappointed with this body wash. It provided adequate moisturizing lather and a soft lingering scent of pomegranate that lasted well into the day.  The body wash was packed with essential oils of vanilla, blood orange and neroli. I like how body wash is free of synthetic detergent and the organic, and was fair trade pomegranate oil.

Glytone – Retexturize Exfoliating Body Wash

I love this exfoliating body wash and it is a great alternative to sugar body scrubs.  It left my skin soft and smooth thanks to the exfoliating effects of glycolic acid. This product has strong medical scent [sadly] and thick consistency, which gives a nice fluffy lather. The body wash is gentle for everyday use and a lot easier to use than traditional body scrubs. I would recommend applying the lotion after showering to lock in the hydration. Also, do not use any other scrubs, while using this product as it might cause skin irritation.

Indie Lee - Lemongrass Citrus Body Wash

In a never ending battle to make my skin care regime greener while keeping my skin healthy, I came across this widely recommended natural body wash. I liked the refreshing lemongrass and citrus scent and how it revitalized me during my morning shower.  Formulated without the icky parabens, phthalates and sulfate, it left my skin soft and lightly scented. However, I noticed it didn’t lather very well and I did have to use a lot more body wash to make sure everywhere was nice and clean. I also would recommend following up with a moisturizer as my skin felt a bit dry about an hour later.

Bath and Body Works – Country Chic body wash

Photo Credit : Bath and Body Works

I work within 7 minutes of my local Bath and Body Works. As usual, during lunch time and especially during the holidays BBW was packed. Trying to avoid the crowds, I was mostly browsing the corner displays. I came across this lovely floral scented body wash. I am especially fond of floral scents; they always seem to take me to my happy place. The body wash lathers well and leaves my skin freshly scented. It does provide ample moisture but the best thing about this body wash is the great aroma it leaves in your skin. The scent might be too strong for some, so try the travel size before committing to the full size if possible.
