Pino Facial Mask in Milk & Honey

The best way to relax after stressful week is to apply a nice facial mask and binge watch TV shows. The facial mask is packed with honey extracts, soothing milk proteins,  and pro-vitamin B5. The mask had a citrusy scent with a bit of honey and milk notes but it was a bit strong especially since this mask is made for people with sensitive skin. After removing the mask, my skin scented with the citrusy scent and my face felt a bit tight afterwards. My face did feel softer, smoother, and a bit more radiant as soon as I removed the mask. After applying a bit of lotion, my skin looked and felt amazing. I would definitely get this again if it wasn’t 10 masks for $80. While it isn’t the most expensive masks, I might wait until I have a bit more discretionary spending money for before I get it again :)

Naturopathica Oat Facial Polish

The creamy facial polish is packed with soothing oats, jojoba beads, and oat beta glucan. The polish promises to exfoliate, soften, moisturize and improve the appearance of skin. The polish had an odd scent, I couldn’t put my finger on it. It wasn’t pleasant or stinky either, I was just quite impartial to it. The polish didn’t rub even mostly because of the oats and the beads. It wasn’t a big deal but I tend to like an even application and not having clumps in random places, especially in the nooks of my nose and hair. The facial polish did wash off cleanly but it left my face feeling a bit tight. I followed up with lotion and it left my face feeling soft. Overall, the facial polish didn’t impress me much especially for $20 for 2oz.

Yes to Carrots Acne Blemish Clearing Facial Towelettes

As everyone can agree, sometimes there are not enough hours in the day. The last thing I want to do after a long day is wash my face. That is why I like keeping a packet near my bed so my lazy butt doesn’t have to go far to clean my face before hitting the sack. The facial wipes are made with 97% natural compostable, FSC certified fabric is Petroleum, SLS, & Paraben Free. The wipes are packed with tomato extracts, red pepper, witch hazel and salicylic acid. The wipes promise to help fight acne blemishes and leaves skin clean and clear.  While I wasn’t using this wipes to prevent or clear my acne and blemishes, I didn’t notice they did much to alleviate my acne and blemish or clear my pores and blackheads. I really hoped that it would help clean the blackheads that has made home on my nose. This wipes didn’t wipe off my mascara cleanly so I usually have to follow up with makeup remover.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes

I usually keep a container of facial wipes everywhere. You can use them in so many different ways from refreshing your skin to removing makeup. I usually use facial wipes when I am too lazy to use my Clarisonic brush before bed [ which is a happening a lot more lately ] .  I have used many different brands and types of facial wipes and this one is one of my favorites. It is gentle, chemical and fragrance free and vitamin b5 enriched. When I first open the packet, the fresh scent of the wipes floated into the air. The wipes themselves felt a bit dry and I was a bit concerned I would have to use two wipes for my face. Boy, was I wrong! One wipe cleaned and moisturized my entire face and it was still damp enough for me to use on my neck and chest. It also managed to remove my waterproof mascara with one swipe.  It left my skin feeling soft and smooth.

Neutrogena Visibly Bright Daily Facial Cleanser

The daily facial cleanser promises to make dull, tired skin into bright and refreshed skin within 4 uses. The formula is infused with soy, vitamin c and citrus antioxidants.  The facial cleanser is non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic and oil free. My face felt soft and fresh, but it is usually that way after I finish washing my face anyways. I didn’t notice any of the brightening effects of the facial cleanser. My only qualm is that facial cleanser doesn’t lather well.

Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser

A no-frills [and cheap!] cleanser that should be a staple in everyone's beauty regime. It lather fairly well and does not leave the skin feeling dry. This oil-free cleanser contains triclosan, which is known for bacteria killing properties. I usually rotate this cleanser every other day with my traditional anti-aging ingredients enrich cleanser, since it is gentle on the skin without any harsh additives.
