A family friendly cookbook geared towards raising a healthy family. The recipe book contains 365 whole food, allergy free (such as gluten, dairy, and soy) recipes. The book contains chapters on "why to choose whole foods" and discussing the rise of food allergies. Each recipe chapter is broken out by the type of meal - smoothies, beverages,  snacks and treats, desserts, main meals, soups, and stews. The recipes do not list calories and nutritional information for anyone following a doctor specified diet. There are several whole pages of gorgeous photos and recommendations for specific products. A must have for anyone who has allergies or wishes to eat a "whole food" diet!

**Disclosure - I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest opinion**

Level Naturals Soy Candle - Grapefruit and Bergamot

The soy sauce is packed with blends of grapefruit and bergamot. The soy based candle promises to be toxin-free but I am not sure what that means. The  candle burned clean and had a fresh citrus scent. However, I am not very in love with the scent though.

Old Factory Candle - Man Cave Gift Set

I have always been a big fan of soy candles. So, I was super excited when I had gotten the opportunity to try these soy candles. All the gift sets are specially curated and has three different scents that come in 2 oz glass containers. The labels are super cute and has an very old apothecary look. Each candle lasts around 20 hours and has a cotton wick. The candle works well in one small room but you can combine 2 candles for one large room. I am not what each scent smells like but my favorite was the straight razor which has a clean and fresh scent.

Here are the links to all the available gift sets -

Votivo Icy Blue Pine Candle

I had gotten this around the holiday time. I can see why they made this especially for the holiday season. One whiff is the sweet scented candle, you are immediately transported to Winterland surrounded by pine that is slightly giving in the weight of soft white snow. I usually like sweet fruity scents or occasionally mint or relaxing scents. At first, I thought I would hate this scent and now I find myself in the middle of October feverishly looking where I can purchase another can while holding the remnants of what is left.  The small tin has a surprisingly 30 to 40 hours burn time and is hand made with soy wax in the US. While I count down the days for my next fix [and huge stock up], I will have to settle to sniffing the empty tin.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Targeted Tone Corrector

Every time, I get acne I always get dark spots without fail. I have heard soy helps reduce the appearance dark spots. The vitamin A enriched serum went on smoothly and didn’t leave my face feeling greasy. My dark spots faded a bit and my complexion look more radiant and glowy. While the tone corrector is meant as a spot treatment I been using it all over my skin. The serum is oil free, non-comedogenic, and non-irritating. Overall, I love this dark spot corrector for an all over treatment since it cost under $20 and managed to fade my dark spots more than expensive products I have tried.
