February 2021 Empties!

Wow, its the middle of February already! I am not sad that this month is almost over because I am tired of the snow. It's been snowing at least every other day already.

 I am so proud of myself! I finished so many sheet masks and full size items. I think this is the most I ever finished in one month.  There were a few things that I liked this month. I liked the Pure Lotus Mask, the Minus Mask, the Beautiful Factr, and the Facetory Artemisia mask. I would repurchase these mask especially, if they were on sale. I found that they worked well and felt very soothing against my skin.

I liked the Too Cool for School moisturizer.  It was very thick and I feel like my skin hydrating. I wasn't crazy about the texture though. It felt a bit tacky and goop when applying to my skin. I got the Collagen socks and gloves set because my limbs always need extra hydration during the winter. I like that these had detachable sections so, you can apply nail polish with the mask on. The other stuff I finished and they were okay. I would be in no rush to re-purchase them again.

The volumizing shampoo promises to wash away dirt and excess oil while revitalizing fullness and lifeless locks. The shampoo is enriched with collagen, wheat protein, vitamin A, C, and E, retinol, keratin, panthenol, and amino acids. The shampoo provided a generous lather and washed out cleanly. My hair felt thicker and more luxurious than before. It is a little pricer than my normal everyday shampoo but, it has great results that I reserve it for special occasions.

Facetory Ace That Face Collage Mask

 Sheet masks are one of my favorite things to use. It gives me the perfect excuse to lay down and read a book and just do me especially when I am frazzled. The mask is enriched with hydrolyzed collagen and mushroom extract to nourish and hydrate your skin. I felt like the mask fit my face well and hung on tightly without dripping serum all over me. I am not sure about the plump claim as my face is already chubby, I don't need to get plumper ;) The mask left my face feeling hydrated and revitalized. I can't wait to try the other masks in their line.

Neutrogena Collagen Kiss Lip Mask

The lip sheet mask is packed with vitamin C, vitamin E, and collagen. The single-use mask promises to leave your lips looking fuller and plumper.  The mask was easy to apply and I had to lie down because it did keep slipping off my face. It did leave my lips soft and hydrated but, I did have to follow up with lip balm. I find that lip masks are more fun and relaxation purposes than anything else. I rarely see any results from them.

Bison Hot Bath Salt Ruby Grapefruit

The carbonated granules are enriched with collagen, hyaluronic acid, placenta extract, spa water mineral, capsicum extract, ginger extract, and rock salt. The Ruby Grapefruit bath salt is good for pore care according to the package. I never had a pore problem other than on my face -- and never realized that anyone might have that issue.The granules acted like pop rocks and popped but generated almost no bubbles. The packet did turn my water into a bright hot pink but that’s about it. An overall disappointment in terms of bubble bath products.

Pevonia Age Defying Marine Collagen Cream

The creamy lotion is packed with collagen, squalene, vitamin E and Safflower seed oil. The cream promises to infuse moisture, plump fine lines along with protecting against UV damage. I used a tiny bit of lotion and my face felt smooth, soft and hydrated. I would definitely buy again if it didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Iroha Nature Intensive Facial Cloth Mask Q10

This paraben free paper mask is packed with hyaluronic acid, Q10, collagen, and soy. Soybeans are known to prevent premature aging of the skin and retaining moisture. It is also known for its antioxidant properties such as fighting free radicals and promoting the growth of collagen. My face felt firm, supple, smooth and soft after I put the mask for the instructed 15 minutes. I did like after I finished remove the mask there was some excess serum left over and  I massaged into my neck so it can reap in some of the benefits too! I sometimes wonder how come they don’t make a mask that covers a the neck as well. Because I know some people who take really good care of the face but neglect their necks and the neck is actually makes people look older.

Boscia Bright White Mask

This anti-aging masks promises to brighten, hydrate, and smooths your skin. The white mask is packed with vitamin C to reverse the skin damage caused by UV radiation. The mask is not formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, preservatives, ethanol alcohol, artificial color and animal ingredients. The whitening ingredients brightens, even outs skin tone and reduces the appearance of dark spots. Not only does it promises to improve the condition of your skin but also reduce the appearance of line and wrinkles but supports the production of natural collagen. I really love this white peel off mask. It made my skin feel soft, smooth and absolutely just glowy. I couldn’t stop staring and touch my skin. I totally love this mask, I can’t wait to try the other Boscia ones.

What is the best part of travelling to Europe on your Birthday? Spending as much as you like because it is _your_birthday, friends, family, food, the scenery, new experiences, culture...okay...and shopping! :) I came across this when shopping one day and I thought I should give it a try. After all, I love facial masks and well, it seems like it something special to Europe. I was a bit hesitant to purchase the mask because it was 30 Euros  which was around $43 and that was not including how much it cost me to exchange my USD to Euros. I figured I might as well, since I was on vacation and my face was getting a bit dry and tired looking. Plus I figured it was a lot cheaper than getting a facial and I do need to look my best for all the cute guys, hey you never know, my life might become a cutesy rom com!  I like how the kit came with 10 masks and 1 bottle of serum to apply during the evening. In all honesty, I lost the serum because I was saving  it to use after the mask and I am a bit annoyed  over losing it. But getting 10 masks for around $40 still brings it down to $4 a mask. I love how smooth, soft and radiant my skin felt after using the mask. My face was literally drenched with serum from the mask. I had a bunch of serum left from the mask that I eventually rubbed on the back of my hands. After removing the mask, I followed up with a moisturizer and my face felt like it was glowing.

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster

The serum is boasts a high potency of vitamin C complex. It promises to prevent and corrects signs of aging while brightening and evening out skin tone. The fast absorbing serum went on easily and smoothly. It made my skin look smoother, softer and had a bit of a glow. My favorite part of this sweet scented serum is that a little bit goes along way and delivers. I got couple of compliments from using this product and because I am a bit vain, I will probably continue using this.

Nu – Pore : Fresh Aloe Collagen Essence Mask

I love using a weekly facial mask. My friend raves about this mask and gave me one for Christmas. I can see why she loves it. The premoistened mask can be used three ways a] on a warm day, you can stick it in the fridge b] on cold day, you can submerge the packet in hot water c] or the lazy person way [I did it this way], by just opening the packet and using it.  When I first removed the mask, my face felt tight, but it slowly went away and my skin felt soft and smooth. The mask is packed with vitamin E, Collagen and aloe.
