Book Review - Neck and Neck by Elise Parsley + Giveaway

At the zoo, Leopold the giraffe is king. Everyone adores the gentle giant. He fills visitors with excitement and wonder. In return, he is feed yummy snacks. However, one day, giraffe-shaped balloon tries to overtake Leopold's territory and snacks. How far will Leopold go to prevent his spotlight from being stolen?

The picture book was a fun and delightful read. The story shows how when can compete to win affection (for this story) just by doing the right thing. The storyline at first was a bit hard to decipher at first, especially to young tots I read the story too. However, they liked the drawings and silly antics Leopold did.

**Disclosure - I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest opinion**

RosaPacific 19 Real Neck PT Whitening and Anti-Wrinkle

As the trend for face and sheet masks continue, it only make sense to have a mask for the neck region. As one of the many, I usually apply lotion and take diligent care of my face but forget to show the same love to my neck. Which is probably the reason why fine lines and wrinkles on the neck is the one of the first precursor of aging. I came across this mask, which I believe came in one of my MemeBox purchases and I thought I should take the time to show my neck some love.  The bio cellulose mask is made with fermented coconut juice. Coconut juice is known for its high absorptive powers and hydrating (and quite tasty!) Like many face masks, it comes with two protective layers and it can be applied to the neck region for around 30 minutes. I tried applying the mask standing up but it kept falling off. I found it easier to apply the mask and lie down (although, it was still a bit slippery). There was a slight cooling sensation and it does leave skin with a sticky film. You can wash off the extra serum or rub it in. I just rubbed mines in hopes to get rid of my neck lines (it didn’t). Unlike, facial masks  -- the whitening and anti-aging effect isn’t apparent after one use. However, my neck did feel softer, smoother and was well hydrated. I am not sure if I would get this product again but I might try another neck mask in the future.

Mama Mio Boob Tube Bust & Neck Firmer

Source: Mama Mio wwebsite

Ever since the olden days, we have been told that gravity is our friend. As we grow up, we come to realize that this was a blatant lie. Mama Mio Boob Tube Bust & Neck Firmer [wipe that grin off your face!] is here to help!  The company claims “No crinkles or droop, no turtle necks or even turkey necks”.  The product is packed with Coq10, milk thistle, shea butter and essential oils.  I've been using this product for about 2 months, I haven’t notice any firmness in my turkey neck *sigh* or a reduce in droopage [not saying I have any either!]. I did notice my décolletage and face feeling firmer, smoother and dewy. It might not stop the inevitable sag and droop, but it does a good job keeping my skin looking youthful. It has kept my skin looking nourished and moisturized throughout the day.
