Julep Pomegranate Body Crème

This moisturizing cream is packed with pomegranate, papaya enzymes, shea butter, with jojoba, avocado, and kukui nut oils. I took two containers of this with me to Florida on a family reunion thinking the sun will dry out my skin leaving it scaly and dry. To my utter delight, this floral scented body crème kept my skin feeling soft and smooth the entire time. The creamy crème is a bit greasy if you apply too much but a little crème does go a long way. When opening the container the floral scent might be a bit overpowering to some but when rub on to the skin it leaves the skin delicately scented.

Julep Rock Star Hand Creme

The anti-aging hand creme is packed with shea butter, glycerin, coconut oil and vitamin E. This emollient blend keeps hands hydrated, even after you finishing washing your hands. The non - greasy, fast - absorbing creme has a clean scent. It left my hands felt pampered, soft and smooth. I love applying this creme as feel like a mini-spa treatment especially after using the Julep Glycolic Hand Scrub. I, at first, love the cap but after using it for awhile I realized, the product gets stuck on the cover and it is just messy.

Bite Beauty VIB Rouge Creme Lipstick

Guess who is finally a Sephora VIB Rouge again! :P I forgot to swatch it before. It looks like I might need to get a new camera since my first 5 batches of photos got deleted :(

This "limited edition" shade is from what I heard is only available for VIB Rouge for $28.  The creamy red lipstick is formulated without parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, GMO, triclosan, phthalates and is gluten free.

It has a matte finish but it is hydrating and leaving lips feeling soft and smooth.  It went on smooth and felt nice against my lips. It is a nice creme red that reminds me of old school glamour.  I am almost finish with my little sample :( and I am really debating whether or not to get the full size.

Memoire Liquide Fleuer Liquide Reserve Edition Creme de la Creme

I actually came across this lotion while coming from [or was it going to?] Europe [trust me, it wasn’t as fancy as I just made it sound! :) ] While trolling around the airport shops idling away some time and the extra money I had exchanged  I came across some a beauty store. I saw Memoire Liquide had a little display of perfumes and lotions. The company is based off of the premise of memories and scents are intertwined together. Which I wholeheartedly agree, I tend to buy a new bottle of perfume every time I go on vacation or to mark a special occasion. I then usually only use that perfume while I am on vacation, for example when I went to Las Vegas I only used Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir. Whenever I spray it I remember Sin City and the money I lost and the dry, itchy skin...Thanks Vegas.  The lotion is rich, creamy and leaves my skin soft and delicately scented. The lotion has notes of Orange Blossom, Fresh Mimosa, and Night Blooming Jasmine. The lotion is very heavy scented so a little goes a long way. Overall, I love this lotion and mostly use instead of perfume on those really hot sticky days.

Julep Nail Polish - Lucy

Two Coats

This was one coat

Three coats, to give a better picture how it looks

I love this sophisticated dark burgundy creme color. Unlike Meryl, Lucy doesn't take forever to try. I was actually able to apply the first coat and having it dried before applying the second. The color also didn't chip as fast. I got almost 3 days before I noticed a flake and that was without a top coat. But I  noticed the second time using it, I only managed to get two days without chips. I would recommend using at least two coats as the product does streak a bit and a bit runny [as you can tell from my photos] so don't forget to rub off the excess on the bottle top. But with three coats, the color and coverage was even and beautiful.

Burt's Bees Radiance Night Crème

The creamy lightweight formula was god send. I recently ran out and bought more.  But I noticed I wasn’t getting the same results as before. After reading some reviews, it turns out a lot of people were upset about the reformulation. I agree, why mess with something so good and make it so bad. The old formula left my skin smooth, soft, dewy and hydrated The new formula barely moisturizes my face. It doesn’t leave my face looking radiant but mediocre [I am not sure if I should refer to my face as mediocre]. I am sorely disappointed at this and I will no longer will be purchasing this once great night crème.
